Vision for Ministry at The Crossing
To be an environment that is surging with life and authenticity that calls and equips high school students in Boulder Valley into a life-long lifestyle of following Jesus as part of the body of Christ through fellowship, worship, discipleship, service and outreach.
The Crossing is a fellowship for high school students, not a church. It is designed to be a discipleship program, not an outreach. The mission of The Crossing is to build the body of Christ. Concerning local churches, The Crossing is designed to serve those who would choose to let it be a part of their weekly youth programming – enriching their youth program, not replacing it. The general idea is: “If there are things we can do better together then apart, then let’s do them together.”We want youth leaders to bring their students and disciple them via their own small group, consisting of just their own kids.
Blockparty! is “fueled” by The Crossing but is a ministry of all interested Christ-centered churches in Boulder Valley.
Vision for Ministry at Blockparty!
To regularly unite the high school Body of Christ in Boulder Valley so students can fellowship together, worship together and publicly give testimony to what God is doing. One hope is that students will be encouraged by seeing all the other students at their school who are trying to follow Christ too, as they don’t often know whom these other students are.
